Organic produts from KFF

Following research suggesting that 44% of consumers would like to see an organic option on a menu when they eat out, independent food service supplier KFF has introduced a new range of more than 30 organic products with the aim of easing the issue of sourcing organic items for the operator.

All products are certified by the Soil Association. Cheeses include: a 225g Bath Soft Cheese, which the company describes as similar to a good ripe Brie and is packed in parchment paper with a red wax seal; Wyke Farms Organic Extra Mature Cheddar is made using milk from cows organically reared in accordance with the standards of the Soil Association and matured for 10-12 months for a mature, rounded savoury taste; and Godminster Vintage Organic Cheddar made using a 70-year-old recipe with milk from an organic dairy herd grazing the pastures of Godminster in Somerset, matured for at least 12 months and turned into 400g heart-shaped truckles. There are also two new rustic part-baked white and brown bloomers featuring an edible organic certification seal made from rice paper. Other products include Organic Shell Eggs, sourced in Cranbrook, Kent, and meeting the Lion Quality standard, and Organic Mixed Seed Crisp biscuits for cheese.
