Pabulum wins £1m school catering deal in Weston-super-Mare
Ethical caterer Pabulum continues to get top marks with another education contract win, worth £1m.
The five-year deal will see the Fleet-based operator provide school meals to 1,500 secondary school pupils at Worle Community School in Weston-super-Mare.
Keith Perry, business manager at the school, said: "We're really excited to be working with the Pabulum team to bring delicious and healthy food to the students at Worle.
"And to be able to ‘walk the talk' when it comes to social responsibility is a great way of setting a lasting example to our students."
Pabulum has won a string of awards in recent months that back up its commitment to ethical operations including Bronze Accreditation through the prestigious Food for Life Partnership and the Good Egg Award from Compassion in World Farming for only using free range eggs.
Amanda Ciraulo, the company's director of sales, added: "Our innovative and cost effective catering solutions rely on an in-depth understanding of each client's specific requirements and this is only possible if we maintain a strong personal relationship with each customer.
"Worle Community School is no exception and we are looking forward to working closely with the team there over the months ahead."
