Pabulum wins £450,000 deal with Wembley High Technology College
Independent contract caterer Pabulum has won a two-year deal with Wembley High Technology College.
Worth in excess of £450,000, the contract was won as a result of Pabulum's commitment to ethical catering.
Hitanshu Bhattacharjee, director of business operations at the college, commented: "Pabulum's commitment to providing fresh meals from local, sustainably sourced produce was immediately attractive to us and once we met the team, it became clear that their service ethic was as strong as their commitment to good food."
Pabulum's executive chef, Jack Sykes, was an integral member of the team during the company's initial presentation to Wembley High and will continue to be closely involved once Pabulum takes over the college's catering operations this month.
He said: "It's another exciting project for us and an opportunity to demonstrate our innovative delivery solutions.
"Not only are we going to provide lunches for the 1,400 or so students, but we are also working with the college to open a 6th form café."
