Pans for induction from Meyer Commercialware

Not all stainless steel pans are suitable for use on induction hobs and getting it wrong can mean ruined cookware. To help caterers get it right, Meyer Commercialware has launched a range of Induction-Ready saucepans, casserole pans and stockpots that are available through catering equipment distributors. As the pot base needs to be magnetic to activate the heat source, Meyer has fully enclosed the aluminium layer used to spread heat evenly. The saucepans have tapered sides, providing a larger area for faster reduction times than can be achieved in straight-sided varieties. All Induction-Ready models have hollow handles (triple-riveted for safety) to reduce heat build-up. The saucepans range in size from 16cm to 30cm with respective capacities of 1.4 litres and 9.46 litres.
