Paul Hurren made managing director of CH&Co's fine-dining brand Lusso

Paul Hurren has been appointed as the managing director of fine-dining catering brand Lusso, part of CH&Co.

Hurren was previously operations director at Charlton House, which relaunched last week as five specialist divisions under the umbrella business of CH&Co. He joined the group in 2003 as senior operations manager. Six months later he was being promoted to operations director with responsibility for the group's City contracts and clients in the South-east, and in 2005 he was made operations director.

Commenting on his new role, Hurren said: "This is a highly aspirational, competitive and demanding niche sector. It helps that I love what I do. To be able to work with some of the finest chefs in London in these incredible corporate environments is a great privilege."

Lusso is the group's niche brand specialising in dining, hospitality and bespoke staff catering for a select portfolio of clients, mainly in the City of London. Italian for "luxury", Lusso boasts a current portfolio of 22 clients, predominantly in the financial, legal and media fields, including BDO LLP, Norton Rose and Hogan Lovells.

The company employs 398 people and annual turnover is £15.5m. Its new corporate headquarters are situated at Coopers' Hall in Devonshire Square.
