Gori
Jurgen Sutherland has return to the UK after spending eight years in the Middle East and Europe. He has become area general manager for central London for Thistle Hotels, a role which puts him in charge of six properties. Jurgen was previously general manager of the Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Francesca Gori has joined Brown's Hotel in London as sales and marketing director. Before joining the five-star, 117-bedroom hotel, which is closed for refurbishment until next spring, Francesca was London sales director for the property's owner, Rocco Forte Hotels. The four-star, 69-bedroom Kingsley Hotel in Cork has welcomed Philip Murray as food and beverage manager. Philip formerly spent three years as conference and banqueting manager at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews, Fife.

Roumignac
The White Hart Hotel in Nettlebed, near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, has appointed Jean Christophe Roumignac general manager. Prior to starting at the 12-bedroom, 17th-century inn, Jean Christophe managed the Copper Inn Hotel in Pangbourne, Berkshire. ### Contract catering Senior head chef at Chester Boyd, Nigel Smith, has left the company after five years. He has taken on the role of chef director of Teriss Restaurants in Brentwood, Essex.
