Peyton and Byrne to open fifth bakery

Peyton and Byrne will be opening its fifth bakery on 8 June with a 40-cover, 1,000 sq ft store on Great Portland Street in London.

The new site will join the company's existing bakeries in Hammersmith, Greenwich, Central St Giles and Covent Garden.

It will offer handmade cakes, biscuits, pies, tarts, healthy breakfasts, lunchtime savouries, celebratory cakes and an extensive list of Peyton and Byrne's own teas.

Master baker George Heron has created a range of new products for the site, which will also be rolled out across the bakery group.

Co-founder and restaurateur Oliver Peyton said: "We are delighted to have expanded our list of bakeries to five and to launch our new product range at the Great Portland Street bakery. This bakery will be the perfect place to stock up for an impromptu picnic in Regent's Park, whilst also catering to local office workers looking for a quality weekday lunch."
