Peyton & Byrne signs £15m Inn the Park contract extension

Peyton & Byrne has signed a new £15m deal to operate its Inn the Park restaurant, bar and café in St James's Park for another five years.

The contract extension comes as Oliver Peyton and his team celebrated the restaurant's 10th anniversary. Commenting on the enduring appeal of the venue, he said: "St James's Park is an extraordinarily beautiful setting any hour of the day and Inn the Park has become a modern landmark in its own way, welcoming visitors and Londoners throughout every season.

Open daily from breakfast to dinner, Inn the Park's menus and drinks lists evolve throughout the day, while focusing on healthy, seasonal British ingredients, local specialist suppliers, rare breed farmers and artisan producers.

The addition of a state of the art barbecue in the kitchen has resulted in grill dishes being added to the menu, while a 'Ribs on the Roof' special promotion is available daily offering a half-rack of ribs with spicy coleslaw and a Saxon beer.

The contemporary wooden pavilion has been revamped to include new larchwood flooring, lighting, indoor and outdoor furniture, and a new bar on the main terrace. There is restaurant seating for up to 120, as well as eat-in and takeaway self-service. The upper terrace is available for private parties for up to 100 guests.
