Phil Andrew promoted to CFO at Sodexo UK & Ireland
Sodexo has promoted Phil Andrew to the role of chief financial officer for its UK & Ireland business.
Andrew's most recent position was managing director for Sodexo Justice Services, the company's UK prison business. He replaces Rachel Osborne who has left the company for a new role with retailer John Lewis Partnership.
Tasked with leading the negotiation of complex contracts, Andrew will have a significant role to play in business and corporate development.
He will work alongside and report to Sodexo chief executive Aidan Connolly to seek further growth opportunities for the company, and he will also have an additional function reporting line to Sian Herbert-Jones, chief financial officer for Sodexo Group.
He said: "I am very excited to be taking up this new post. I am confident that my experience will enable me to provide the company with a comprehensive financial service and I look forward to the challenges of the years ahead."
Connolly added: "I am delighted to be welcoming Phil to his new role, in which he will undoubtedly make a significant contribution to the long-term success of the UK and Ireland business."
Andrew joined Sodexo in 2007 and held a number of roles including finance director for Kalyx (now Sodexo Justice Services), finance director for Sodexo's Global Procter & Gamble Account and chief operating officer for Kalyx.
Prior to Sodexo, he worked with IBM and British American Tobacco in a number of UK and international roles.
