Places filling fast for free HR business breakfast

Places are filling up fast for a free business breakfast hosted by The Caterer at the Lanesborough hotel on 8 October, tackling the major HR issues that hospitality business managers face.

The event, which takes place from 9am to 11am, will be chaired by Jane Sunley, business author and CEO of employee engagement experts Purple Cubed.

Sunley will be joined by Stephanie Hamilton, managing director of ISS Food and Hospitality, and Stacey Lawrence, head of HR at the Dorchester.

Together, they will explore in practical terms what hospitality employees really want and how organisations can deliver.

The event comes at a time when research from Purple Cubed shows that it is as important as ever for hospitality employers to keep their staff happy.

The research showed that out of 10 hospitality employees:

  • One is ready to leave their employer now

  • 14% stated they're never treated well

  • Only 42% are happy all of the time

Our panellists will dig deeper into Purple Cubed's research and debate and examine:

  • The challenges for HR now and in the coming 12 months

  • The role of employee benefits, communications and flexible working

  • Why HR needs to take the lead with corporate social responsibility

  • What it takes to be an award-winning employer
