Product Excellence Awards 2015: deadline extended

The deadline for entries for The Caterer's Product Excellence Awards has been extended by one week to 21 August 2015.

The awards are presented in partnership with Compass UK & Ireland and are designed to showcase the best food, drink and equipment products, allowing foodservice operators to make a point of difference to their customers.

Manufacturer and suppliers of game-changing food, drink and equipment innovations are encouraged to enter.

"Our Product Excellence Awards were a huge success last year," said Lisa Jenkins, The Caterer's products and suppliers editor. "These awards allow us to recognise the R&D, investment and sheer determination that goes into the creation and launch of the thousands of products every year."

Oliver Cock, commercial director for Compass Group UK & Ireland, said: "Great products are absolutely fundamental to the success of our industry and we are lucky to have such a fantastic array to choose from. The Product Excellence Awards will celebrate the producers and suppliers that enable us to deliver the very best food and service."

Expert industry judges will gather for two weeks in September to deliberate and award a stamp of approval on products that deliver a little more in terms of taste, appearance, usability and design.

The award presentations will take place at an early evening cocktail reception on 3 December at Dartmouth House in Mayfair, London.
