Raymond Blanc, Bruno Loubet and Ashley Palmer-Watts to headline HA Christmas fundraising dinner

Leading chefs Raymond Blanc, Bruno Loubet and Ashley Palmer-Watts are joining forces with Park Plaza Westminster Bridge executive chef Walter Ishizuka to host this year's Christmas fundraising dinner for industry charity Hospitality Action (HA).

The exclusive three-course dinner and auction for up to 140 covers will take place in Brasserie Joël on 5 December, beginning with a drinks reception at 7pm.

Billed as a ‘Star Filled Christmas', the event will see two-Michelin-starred chefs Blanc and Palmer-Watts, and 2014 Menu of the Year Catey winner Loubet each cooking a course, while supported by Ishizuka and his brigade.

Blanc, who has just published his latest book, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons; The Story of a Modern Classic, commented: "Christmas is a time of celebration to be shared with loved ones, friends and family. Yet it is renowned that for most people working in hospitality they are not only away from home but put in long hours and hard work over the festive season. This extra stress can sometimes lead to difficulties and it is here Hospitality Action can lend a helping hand. I have been a patron of Hospitality Action for many years and I would encourage everyone to support them this winter and beyond."

HA chief executive Penny Moore added: "We are honoured that Raymond, Bruno, Ashley and Walter are giving up their time to celebrate Christmas with us. We always look forward to the merriment of Christmas as we reflect on the past 12 months and prepare for the year ahead. Of course, the festive season can be a difficult and lonely time for many so by attending this extraordinary event you really will be making a direct difference to those in need across the hospitality industry."

HA's most recent Christmas fundraising dinner took place in 2014 and featured chefs Nathan Outlaw and Simon Hulstone and pâtissier Eric Lanlard. The event, which was also held at Brasserie Joël, raised £19,500 for the charity.

Tickets for the event on 5 December cost £135 per person or £1,300 for a table of 10. To secure your place, contact Giuliana Vittiglio on 020 3004 5504 or via fundraising@hospitalityaction.org.uk or online at www.hospitalityaction.org.uk/events.
