Restaurant Associates partners with Dipna Anand
Restaurant Associates, part of Compass Group, has signed a deal with celebrity curry chef Dipna Anand to create a new Indian offering for the business.
As part of the deal, 30 chefs from Restaurant Associates have already taken part in two training sessions to learn about healthy Indian food options.
Jeremy Ford, culinary director at Restaurant Associates, said: "This new partnership with Dipna Anand is key to our ethos of creating great food with the best ingredients for our clients. London has such a diverse culture with international food outlets featuring strongly on our high streets.
"We are always looking for ways to develop our service and to deliver exceptional food and this new partnership brings a very authentic Indian offer to our customer base."
Anand currently manages her family restaurant, the Brilliant located in Southall, which was opened by her father 41 years ago. She also runs specialist Indian cookery courses at her cookery school within the restaurant itself.
She said: "I am delighted to be working with Restaurant Associates. They are truly passionate about delivering great food to their customers and it is a wonderful opportunity for me to train chefs in true Indian cuisine.
"I had great fun during the training sessions. The chefs showed such enthusiasm for the food and I look forward to seeing them replicate the recipes for our customers."
The chef is also taking part in 12 pop-up chef events where she will cook at a number of client sites.
