Revised McDougall jelly and dessert mixes from RHM Foodservice
RMH Foodservice is offering a revised range of McDougall's Jellies and Delights dessert mixes with reduced fat and calorie levels. All are claimed to have fewer than 90 calories per portion. The Delight Mix, which comes in seven flavours, is said to provide one-third of the recommended daily allowance (RDA) of calcium but less than 3% of the RDA of fat and no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The new packs offer 32, rather than 24, portions. The six flavours of Jelly Crystals are low in fats and saturated fats and carry just 77 calories per portion. They come in two pack sizes that yield 48 or 175 portions. Last but not least are the Vegetarian Society-approved Vegetarian Jelly Crystals, with just 62 calories per serving. Available in strawberry, orange, raspberry and lemon flavours, the crystals are sold in 2 x 3.5kg bags that contain 175 servings.
