Rhubarb to host Elton's wedding

Forget Charles and Camilla's nuptials, the biggest wedding of the year will be between Elton John and David Furnish.

Details are being kept securely under wraps but rumour has it that caterer Rhubarb will be providing for what promises to be a no-holds-barred post-marriage bash.

The Battersea-based events catering company is believed to have secured the exclusive contract for the wedding reception, which will be held at John's £12m Windsor home on 21 December.

The celebrity-studded bash will be held after the couple exchange vows at a low-key civil partnership service at Windsor Guildhall, where the Prince and Princess of Wales tied the knot earlier this year.

Rhubarb's managing director Peter Bass said: "We couldn't confirm or deny the type of event or type of people we cater for."
