Searcys in £500k deal with RCGP
Upmarket caterer Searcys has already scooped more than £500,000 of business at the Royal College of General Practitioners' (RCGP) new 30 Euston Square headquarters, which is scheduled to open in September.
The new contracts will see Searcys manage meeting, event and accommodation services at the new building, which spans seven floors and covers over 121,000 sq ft.
Chris Maddison, marketing director at Searcys, said he believes the venue's flying start will be a sign of things to come.
He said: "Promoting a venue before it has even opened can be a real challenge, but 30 Euston Square has made that task a lot easier.
"It is already clear what a prestigious development it will be, and the variety of facilities mean that we can cater for all needs."
The venue features a 300-seat auditorium, 60 individual meeting rooms, two state rooms and a roof terrace.
"We can only see this success continuing once word of the venue spreads, after all, there can be few such diverse facilities that are so well located, added Maddison.
"Euston Square is within walking distance of three major railway stations and through Euston has direct access to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow. Paris, via St Pancras, is just 2.5 hours away."
