Seasoned Events wins £6m five-year sole caterer deal at Tower Bridge

Event foodservice company Seasoned Events, part of the Crown Group, has won a £6m exclusive five-year contract as the sole caterers to Tower Bridge, London.

The company has already been the sole caterer for the Walkways, one of the bridge's event spaces, since 2009, but the City of London Corporation is said to have wanted to form a single partnership for the bridge's three areas.

Seasoned Events has stated that it will double the size of its on-site team and sees the new contract as part of its plans to further develop its business.

Built in 1845, the iconic bridge can host occasions including exhibitions, conferences and parties, and offers views of the city to the east and west from a height of 45m.

Bridge master David Wight, said: "Seasoned Event has been instrumental in growing the events business here over the past five years and we are excited to work with them across all event spaces at the bridge to progress this even further."

Managing director of Seasoned Events, Colin Sayers, called the deal an amazing achievement and said the company would now take its knowledge of the Walkways site across the entire venue.
