Senior director buys out Denny's Uniforms
A senior director at chefswear retailer Denny's Uniforms has bought the company from its family owners for an undisclosed sum, after they voted to sell their shareholding.
Managing director Nick Jubert decided to take on the 170-year-old firm after 16 years under family ownership.
The business has two shops in the centre of London, as well as a headquarters and distribution centre in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Jubert said: "This exciting opportunity to streamline operations and continue our innovative designs through developing our brands Denny's, Le Chef, AFD and Comfort Grip catering shoes feels right.
"Over the years, we have built up reliable manufacturing partnerships and will continue to offer technical, leading edge design and stock on demand. Dominic Green (sales director) and I are looking forward to business as usual - with a renewed vigour."
