Servest wins Red Bull catering karting championship

A Servest operations support manager has won the Red Bull Contract Catering Karting Championship, seeing off stiff competition from rival foodservice firms.

Neil Brookes was victorious at the champion of champions race held in Milton Keynes last week.

Also on the podium was Sodexo's Harpreet Cheema in second place, followed by Scott Duburguet from Compass Group. Drivers from Aramark, BaxterStorey, Gather & Gather and ISS also took part in the final.

To qualify, caterers took part in a four-week volume incentive, with the top 10 sites showing the biggest percentage increase in sales of Red Bull being invited to the first round of karting events.

From each of these events, the winner was crowned their "company champion" and before going through to represent their firm in the final on 3 June.
