Simon Macfarlane joins Lusso as operations director
Simon Macfarlane has joined City caterer Lusso as operations director.
He has made the move after spending two years as director of operations and sustainability at boutique firm Bite Catering, where he looked after clients in the City and the South-east.
Prior to working at Bite, Macfarlane spent five years at Compass Group's Restaurant Associates, after also holding roles with Artizian and Wilson Storey (now BaxterStorey).
Lusso is CH&Co's niche brand that specialises in fine dining, hospitality and bespoke staff catering for a select portfolio of predominantly City clients.
Macfarlane's appointment aims to strengthen Lusso's senior management line-up. He brings a wealth of experience across all areas of food service, hospitality and client dining to the role.
Lusso managing director Paul Hurren welcomed Macfarlane to the team, adding: "My belief is that his experience and expertise will make him a great asset in developing our services and building even stronger client relationships for Lusso."
