Social Pantry appoints Alastair Moir as managing director

21 May 2018 by

Events and corporate contract catering company Social Pantry has appointed Alastair Moir as managing director.

Moir was previously a director of events caterer Tonic, part of Harbour & Jones, which was acquired by CH&Co in June 2017.

He has now joined south west London events caterer Social Pantry to work with chief executive and founder Alex Head to grow the brand.

Moir said: "I am thrilled to be joining such a forward thinking company with strong social values at the very core of its brand.

"To be working alongside Alex Head's infectious enthusiasm for what her business has set out to achieve, the attention to detail in the company's food and menu design paired with the irrepressible ‘can do' attitude of the fabulous team she has already developed here fills me with confidence in the possibilities for the future prospects of Social Pantry."

Social Pantry founder Alex Head added: "I am really excited to be welcoming Alastair to the Social Pantry team. His new position will allow him to draw inspiration from his extensive event experience and bring new business and skills to the company."
