Sodexho wins KLM contract and other food service news

Sodexho wins KLM contract
Sodexho has won a five-year contract to provide facilities management services to Dutch airline KLM in the Netherlands. The deal, which will see Sodexho provide mail, transportation and uniform delivery services, will turn over about £34m per year.

Scolarest adds North Glasgow College to its books
Scolarest, the education division of Compass Group, has won a three-year contract to cater for North Glasgow College. The deal will turn over £300,000 per year and will see 24 Scolarest staff cater for 1670 students and staff. It was previously run by Encore Catering.

… and wins another school contract
Scolarest has also won a five-year contract with The Howard School in Kent. The deal will turn over £260,000 per year and a team of 13 will cater for 1,400 students. The contract was previously held by Independent Catering.

Catermasters to provide services to Serco Docklands Independent caterer Catermasters has won a three-year contract to provide catering services for Serco Docklands, the light railway company in London. The deal, which will turn over £250,000 per year, will see seven Catermasters staff cater for 700 employees at sites in Becton and Poplar. It was previously run by Compass business and industry division Eurest.

Lothian Buses renews Eurest contract Eurest, the business and industry division of Compass Group, has renewed its contract with Lothian Buses to provide catering services for 2,400 client staff at its three Edinburgh depots. The four-year extension will turn over £450,000 per year.

Charlton House goes to London Zoo Independent caterer Charlton House has won a three-year contract to provide catering services for the Zoological Society of London's conference and banqueting operations at London Zoo. The deal, which will turn over £1m per year, was previously run by Compass Group division Leiths.

Vacherin secures rolling contract wil Hamptons Independent caterer Vacherin has won a one-year rolling contract with UK property company Hamptons International, at its Grosvenor Square headquarters in London. The deal, which will turn over £100,000 per year, will see three Vacherin staff managing catering and business facilities for 50 client staff plus guests. It was previously run in house.
