Sodexo acquires Zehnacker Ireland
Sodexo has expanded its Irish business in Ireland with the acquisition of Zehnacker Ireland for an undisclosed sum.
A provider of facilities management services for nursing homes and other healthcare facilities, it will be renamed Sodexo Zehnacker Healthcare.
The company, which employs 25 people, will continue to trade separately but will work with Sodexo's management team to develop new business and a new board of directors will be appointed.
This will include Zehnacker's managing director, John O'Carroll, while Stuart Carter, director of investment and infrastructure for Sodexo UK and Ireland, will act as chairman.
Sodexo bought the parent firm company Zehnacker Group in 2009 for €190m (£151m).
