Sodexo announces changes to UK&I leadership team
Sodexo has appointed Neil Murray as the new region chair for Sodexo UK & Ireland as part of the company's plans to restructure globally.
He will take over the role from Debbie White who previously had the title chief executive for UK & Ireland before it was amended to region chair as part of the restructure.
She has led the business in the UK and Ireland for the last three and a half years, in which time she achieved successful and sustained growth.
Murray joined Sodexo UK&I in 2009 from facilities maintenance company GSH Group where he was managing director for its UK and Ireland business.
Since 2009 he has led Sodexo's corporate services division and in 2012 managed the integration of Atkins asset management business.
Under his leadership, Sodexo has experienced significant growth in its provision of integrated FM contracts and in large global services contracts.
The UK and Ireland regional leadership committee will report to Murray, who will also continue his responsibilities as CEO for corporate services, UK & Ireland.
White said: "It has been a pleasure to lead the UK and Ireland over the last three years and I am very proud of what has been achieved during that time. I am excited about my new global roles and wish Neil every success in his new role."
Commenting on his new appointment, Murray said: "I am delighted to be appointed as the new region chair for the UK and Ireland and will work closely with Debbie to ensure a smooth transition."
