Sodexo appoints James Greetham as head of fine-dining division
Contract caterer Sodexo has appointed James Greetham to head up its fine dining division Directors Table.
Greetham, who joins from high-end caterer Searcys 1847, becomes business director - a newly created role - and indirectly replaces Caroline Gardiner, who stepped down from her managing director position at Directors Table (DT) last year.
Nigel Scott, accountant director for operations at DT who has been acting boss of DT since Gardiner's departure, has transferred internally to work on a global account within corporate services (business and industry) at Sodexo.
Greetham is responsible for the management and development of Sodexo's DT business and pipeline in his new role and will report to Allister Richards, managing director for London and the South.
"I am delighted to be joining at such an interesting time" Greetham said. The company has a real appetite for the quality of offers and it provides its clients and I am really looking forward to using the skills I have acquired to help further develop the business."
At Searcys 1847, Greetham headed business development for business and industry. He has also worked in sales and marketing manager roles for Avenance and Artizian.
In August, Sodexo signed a development deal with the Michelin-starred owners of London's Club Gascon, Pascal Aussignac and Vincent Labeyrie, as part of its chef development programme.
