Sodexo appoints James Taylor as healthcare CEO

James Taylor has been appointed as the new CEO of Sodexo's UK & Ireland healthcare business.

Sodexo works at 100 NHS and private client sites in the healthcare sector. The firm also runs the Tillery Valley Foods food production site in Wales and Home Service, a meals-on-wheels service in London and the South East.

It provides a range of services in hospitals including catering, portering, facilities management and clinical pathway management.

Taylor joins Sodexo UK & Ireland from Sodexo USA, where he held a number of senior leadership roles.

He said: "I am excited to be taking up this challenge and working with such a strong team. Sodexo's UK & Ireland healthcare business has a strong proposition and great client relationships both in the NHS and the private sector. I look forward to working with our people to ensure that the patient is at the heart of everything we do."
