Sodexo buys French luxury firm Lenôtre from Accor
Sodexo has agreed to acquire the French company Lenôtre from Accor for an undisclosed sum.
Lenôtre, an upscale gastronomy business which includes boutiques, receptions and events, as well as its three-star restaurant, Le Pré-Catelan, will be added to Sodexo's Prestige portfolio.
Patrick Scicard, chairman of Lenôtre's board since 1995, will continue to manage the company, working with his existing team.
Sodexo employs 380,000 people worldwide, making it the 21st largest employer worldwide.
