Sodexo Prestige banks £15m contract with ING

Sodexo Prestige has secured a £15m contract extension with ING Bank.

The firm will continue to provide a full facilities management service as part of the three-year extension, including catering, cleaning, reception, switchboard and help desk as well as managing mechanical and electrical engineering services.

The original contract with ING Bank began a quarter for a century ago, when Sodexo Prestige provided just catering services. It has grown to a £5m per annum contract delivered by 80 staff at ING Bank's offices at 60 London Wall in London.

Mike Smith, head of premises and facilities at ING Bank, said: "Sodexo Prestige has committed to approach the new contract with the same enthusiasm that they have demonstrated in the past. The team share our commitment to creating an excellent working environment and always rise to the challenge of continuous improvement."

Chris John, managing director, Sodexo Prestige and Corporate Services, UK and Ireland, added: "We are thrilled to be continuing our long-standing relationship with ING Bank and working together successfully integrating a full FM service model."
