Sodexo Prestige Scotland expands events catering in the regions
Sodexo Prestige Scotland has announced plans to expand its operations at Aberdeen Football Club in order to establish an event catering business in the north-east of Scotland.
The company, which has worked at Aberdeen's Pittodrie Stadium for 18 years, aims to replicate the success of Sodexo Prestige Scotland's events catering business in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
It hopes to build on the relationships it has formed with clients that use the stadium for corporate hospitality by providing event catering at other venues, such as their offices or marquees. The company has the capacity to provide outside catering for up to 5,000 guests at a time.
Isla Stewart, Sodexo Prestige Scotland sales manager at Aberdeen Football Club, said: "We are very lucky to have a loyal client base, and we feel that offering this service will enhance our existing relationships, as well as allowing us to work with new clients on exciting new projects at venues across the north-east.
"We really value the strong relationship we have with Aberdeen Football Club and we are looking to enhance this relationship by growing our reputation as leading events caterers in the north-east of Scotland."
Sodexo Prestige Scotland provides catering and events services for a number of Scotland's leading venues, including Hampden Park Stadium, the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, National Museums Scotland, Perth and Hamilton racecourses, and Glamis and Dundas castles.
