Sodexo Prestige taken to extra time at Aberdeen Football Club

Sodexo Prestige has secured a three-year contract extension to provide catering and hospitality at Aberdeen Football Club.

The new deal will take the caterer's relationship with the club and Pittodrie stadium to 21 years.

David Trotter, catering services director at Sodexo Prestige, said: "We're delighted to have secured another three years with this fantastic venue.

"Having worked with Aberdeen Football Club for quite some time, we have built a solid relationship with the team there and are very much looking forward to building on that relationship so that we can continually evolve and improve the services we offer to customers at Pittodrie."

He said that the caterer was keen to develop the hospitality offered at the venue on both match days and non match days.

"Retail catering is a key area for development with the average attendances increasing due to the on the field success gives a further opportunity to enhance the customer experience," Trotter added.

"With a strong focus on the use of fresh, seasonal and local produce in our food, we feel confident that we can help the conference and events business at Aberdeen Football Club develop and grow."

Aberdeen Football Club will join Sodexo Prestige in its support of this year's ‘Year of Food and Drink', with several events celebrating Scottish produce and suppliers planned at the stadium.
