Sodexo recruits sportsman Matt Dawson as health ambassador
Contract catering giant Sodexo has today announced the appointment of Matt Dawson as an ambassador for the company to help raise awareness of health issues.
The ex-England rugby player and 2006 Celebrity Masterchef winner will work across all of Sodexo's business segments, supporting activities across the UK and Ireland including existing and potential large sporting events.
Aidan Connolly, chief executive of Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: "We are delighted that Matt will be working with us in a number of areas which he is passionate about.
"He is an excellent advocate of the importance of adopting a healthy diet and active lifestyle and is keen to help us communicate the importance of this to our staff and customers."
Dawson said: "I am very excited to be working with a company of the stature of Sodexo. It's a unique role where I hope I can add value by helping to provide an insight into health and well-being matters and share my experiences of what it takes to deliver at the highest level."
