Sodexo relocates to new offices in Holborn

Sodexo has relocated its UK and Ireland headquarters to brand new offices in Holborn.

The food service and facilities management firm has transferred its central operations to One Southampton Row, in the City, from its previous home at Chapel Street, near Edgware Road.

The move has also allowed the caterer to consolidate its offices in Paddington, Stevenage, Feltham and the City of London into one location, bringing together about 400 staff.

The new offices are also intended to act as a showcase for the range of services provided by Sodexo, with its own staff running the catering, hospitality, cleaning, mailroom and reception services.

Aidan Connolly, Sodexo UK & Ireland chief executive, officially opened the new premises at a Champagne reception held in the staff restaurant at the new headquarters.

He said: "One Southampton Row is a fantastic office space of which we are all really proud. It will provide a great showcase for what Sodexo stands for and what we're capable of providing for our clients."
