Sodexo scoops five-year deal with Patheon
Sodexo has scooped a five-year deal with global firm Patheon to provide catering and hospitality services to its 600 employees at its Swindon plant.
The UK contract is part of a global deal which sees Sodexo providing catering and hospitality at five other Patheon sties around the world, including the USA, Puerto Rica and Canada.
Patheon is a global provider of contract development and manufacturing services to the pharmaceutical industry.
David Bailey, managing director, Sodexo corporate services said: "Patheon was looking for a company with the global capability to provide a consistent service at a local level, and we were able to demonstrate this through our experience and portfolio of global clients.
"We are looking forward to creating a restaurant and catering service which will provide its employees and visitors with an enhanced customer experience."
As part of the contract, which began in mid-September, Sodexo will refurbish the existing restaurant and hospitality area at each of the sites.
The employee restaurant will include a deli counter, traditional hot food and a grab & go service. There will also be a chef's theatre counter.
