Sodexo secures £3.6m Brentwood School deal
Sodexo has secured a £3.6m deal to provide catering and hospitality services at Brentwood School, Essex.
The three-year contract, with an option of a two-year extension, is the first time the 500-year-old independent school has outsourced its catering.
It will be run by Independents by Sodexo, which will spend the summer updating the kitchen and dining room facilities.
In September it will cater for over 1,500 day and boarding pupils and providing catering and hospitality for school events.
Jeremy Alderton, managing director of Independents by Sodexo, said: "Independents by Sodexo is delighted to begin a new partnership with Brentwood School. We look forward implementing our ‘fresh food from scratch' catering ethos, offering nutritious and seasonal menu options cooked by our highly skilled chefs."
Ian Davies, headmaster at Brentwood School, added: "We were impressed by Sodexo's approach and innovative, healthy menus and are confident that the whole school community will benefit greatly from the team's culinary expertise. We look forward to a successful working partnership."
