Springboard Awards shortlist revealed

The Springboard Charity has unveiled the shortlist for its 2012 Awards for Excellence.

The winners will be announced during a glittering ceremony at the Novotel London West on 18 October.

There were over 100 entries from companies and individuals vying for top honours in the 17 categories available.

The shortlist is:

Best Student Placement Provider Red Carnation Hotel Collection, CH&Co, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons

Best Recruitment Initiative 10 out of 10, Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons

The Young People Award Lancaster London, Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Inspired Change

The People Innovation Award Park Plaza Hotel Group, Crieff Hydro Ltd, Rocco Forte Browns Hotel

Best Chef Strategy Puma Hotel Collection, Lancaster London, BDL

Chris Beaumont Special Award To be announced on the night

Chief executive of Springboard, Anne Pierce said: "I'm delighted that we had so many entries this year. It's been an outstanding year for Team GB and the Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism sector has risen to the challenges brilliantly! In our 10th year, the Awards continue to recognise excellence and innovation across the industry."
