Talkington Bates takes off with Moog Aircraft Group contract
Independent foodservice business Talkington Bates has won a catering contract with Moog Aircraft Group, a provider of repair and overhaul services for the international aerospace industry.
The rolling contract, worth £200,000 a year, will see Talkington Bates deliver staff restaurant services for around 450 employees at the company's aerospace engineering and manufacturing centre in Wolverhampton.
Supply chain manager Chris Morgan said that Talkington Bates demonstrated a "total grasp" of Moog's business operation and catering requirements.
The caterer saw off competition from three other rival operators to secure the business that includes a range of staff restaurant and café services, as well as hospitality catering.
Fiona Hopkinson (pictured), managing director, Talkington Bates Midlands, said: "It is great to have secured this business in such a highly-competitive pitch and we look forward to building a strong relationship with Moog in the years to come."
