Talkington Bates wins Dorset business centre catering contract

Independent contract caterer Talkington Bates has won a catering contract worth £500,000 at Discovery Court Business Centre in Dorset.

The three-year deal will see the caterer provide a range of food and drink services to more than a thousand workers at the site.

Talkington Bates will provide a hot and cold food offer, including a salad bar, alongside 'grab and go' fridges. It is a split-level catering facility encompassing a restaurant and a coffee bar, accessible to both workers and visitors.

Fiona Hopkinson, managing director of Talkington Bates Midlands, said: "We are delighted to be given this exciting opportunity to provide catering for the commercial site, Discovery Court. The tender allows us to gain a strong foothold within the B&I sector on the South Coast, an area we're looking at expanding in to.

"It is testament to the quality and professionalism of our approach and the passion of our people - something which I believe sets us apart from other contract caterers."
