Taylor Shaw has won a £750,000 bundled services contract at Redcar Community College.

The caterer, which specialises in the education sector, will provide both catering and cleaning services at the college in a three-year deal.

Jim Lovett, managing director of Taylor Shaw, said: "Redcar Community College has really transformed itself in the past few years and to be part of that ongoing change in the years to come is a great opportunity for us."

Stuart Rees, head teacher at the college, added: "We were impressed by Taylor Shaw's commitment to providing quality, fresh food in an environment that our students will like.

"We're really looking forward to them coming on board and bringing the standard of our catering as high as that of the rest of the school."

The college has around 700 students and 111 staff.
