19 September 2012
Tender for Meals on wheels service, Hampshire County Council

Anticipated Start date: April 2013

As part of Hampshire County Council's Prevention & Early Intervention Programme we are tendering for the management, regeneration and delivery of meals on wheels across the county.

We are inviting expressions of interest from organisations who recognise the difference regular, nutritionally balanced meals can make to the well-being of older people and who are able to offer this service in at least one geographically
pre-defined area of the county.

These are being tendered in three Lots within the following District/Borough Council areas:

Lot 1: Basingstoke, Hart and Rushmoor
Lot 2: Fareham, Gosport, Havant and East Hants
Lot 3: Winchester, Eastleigh, New Forest and Test Valley

Applicants are invited to tender for one or more Lots. TUPE may apply.

This contract will be for a period of three years with an option to extend for a period not in excess of two years.
