TGI Friday's Karen Forrester named ‘most people-focused CEO'

Karen Forrester, managing director of T.G.I. Friday has won the title of ‘Most People-Focused CEO' at the HR Excellence Awards.

Forrester was shortlisted alongside nine UK CEOs for the award, and was up against names from brands such as McDonald's and Pets at Home.

Forrester, T.G.I. Friday's UK managing director said: "I am absolutely delighted that Friday's has been recognised as being among the most people-focused companies in the UK. What makes this award particularly special is that it is not just recognising the best in the service industry, but the best companies in the UK full stop.

"While I'm delighted to have been personally named, acknowledgement must also go to the Friday's board and the 4114 team members across the country that go the extra mile every day to ensure that our team and guests alike have the best experience."

T.G.I. Friday's has 56 restaurants across the UK.
