The Cook & the Butler wins £3.5m HQS Wellington deal

The Cook & the Butler Event Company has won a five-year, £3.5m contract as caterer on board the headquarters ship HQS Wellington.

Located close to Temple Stairs on Victoria Embankment, London, HQS Wellington will be run as a venue by The Cook & the Butler, which will take care of all sales and marketing as well as catering for up to 120 guest at private events, weddings and conferences.

Managing director Mark Grove said: "This is the most wonderful opportunity for The Cook & the Butler to develop HQS Wellington as a venue with the support of The Honourable Company of Master Mariners and The Wellington Trust."

"Hospitality and service will be the driving force behind all we set out to achieve and I am confident that working together will only enhance HQS Wellington‘s reputation as London's leading venue, setting standards of excellence."
