We would like to introduce you to The Hollies Guest House, which is a small and friendly Bed and Breakfast, in a quiet village just 2 miles from Tamworth Town Centre.
The owners, Katherine and Simon, have run the Guest House since 2005 and have recently undertaken an extensive refurbishment.
The Hollies' 8 comfortable bedrooms all have free-view television and en suite facilities. There are 4 Single Bedrooms, 2 Double Bedrooms, 1 Twin Bedroom and 1 Triple Bedroom, some of which are located on the Ground Floor. A number of bedrooms can fit an extra bed on request.
Breakfast is served in a spacious Dining Room where there is a generous choice of freshly cooked and Continental Breakfast items. Vegetarians and people with special dietary requirements can be easily catered for.
Owners accomodation is also available which includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Things to do
The Hollies Guest House is conveniently situated for access to Drayton Manor Park, The Snow Dome and Tamworth Castle, which is located in a lovely park and gardens near Tamworth Town Centre. There are plenty of shopping opportunities with Ventura and Jolly Sailor Retail Parks just a 15-minute walk from your accommodation and Sutton Coldfield and Birmingham City Centre a short drive away.
Tamworth also has a number of good restaurants, a cinema, a small theatre and a ten pin bowling alley.
Kingsbury Water Park is only a few minutes drive away.
Location
We are located in Fazeley on the old A5, just off junction 10 of the M42. The Belfry, NEC and Birmingham Airport are all a short drive away.
How to find us
Rail: There is a regular train service from London Euston, Nottingham and Birmingham. Trains arrive at Tamworth Station, which is a short taxi journey or 20- minute walk.
Bus: Fazeley is on the 110 Bus route from Tamworth or Birmingham.
Road: Come off the M42 at junction 10 and follow the signs for Fazeley. Go straight on through Wilnecote, over the railway bridge at Wilnecote Station, straight on at the traffic lights, straight over the mini roundabout, passed BMW on your right.
The Hollies Guest House is the first building on your left, opposite Riverside Industrial Park. There are a limited number of parking spaces available, please ask on arrival.
