Stephen Carter - What we think
A major and longstanding player in the Scottish hospitality industry, Carter's current role at Cameron House has seen the property pick up many awards including the 2012 Best UK Hotel Spa in the SPA Traveller Awards. He has also been responsible for overseeing one of its latest projects - an expanded conference offering of two new rooms - ensuring that the Catey Hotel of the Year - Group 2010 winner will maintain its foothold in the business and leisure markets.
With an eye on the future, Carter will no doubt continue working in international marketing, with partners such as VisitScotland, to propel Cameron House into new markets.
This will set us up for the 2014 focus on Scotland, with the year of the homecoming, Ryder Cup, and the Commonwealth Games. We look forward to an ever successful and growing industry in Scotland," he told Caterer.
