Tracey Crouch reappointed as tourism minister

Tracey Crouch has been reappointed as tourism minister.

It's a role that the Conservative MP for Chatham and Aylesford has held since 2015 when she was appointed by former prime minister David Cameron.

Speaking about the re-appointment, Ufi Ibrahim said: "Tracey Crouch has been a firm friend to our industry and we congratulate her for being re-appointed to the role of tourism minister. We look forward to continuing our work with her."

Crouch, who is also minister for sport, tweeted about the news yesterday, which she received while watching France host England in an international friendly football match:

Missed goal. Ironically was on phone being reappointed Sport, Tourism & Heritage minister. Obviously delighted (about goal too)
