TUCO appoints new partner advisor from Bidvest

Gayle Hunt, national account manager at Bidvest Foodservice, has been appointed the inaugural partner advisor for the University Caterer's Organisation (TUCO).

Following an election from all of the TUCO board members and partners, Hunt joins the organisation to provide a supplier and partner voice to the board.

Hunt said: "I am so pleased to have been selected as the first ever TUCO partner advisor by the members and partners of the organisation.

"Having a voice of the suppliers on the board is a vital and progressive new development for the organisation and its members. I am excited to continue my journey with TUCO and to see what the future holds."

Matthew White, chair of TUCO, added: "We are all looking forward to working with Gayle on a closer and more personal scale.

"Being able to hear directly about the thoughts and needs of our partners on the board is such an important development for the organisation, and it is positions such as this that personalise TUCO and help us to develop and improve every day."

The new position, which will stand for a minimum of 18 months, was unveiled at this year's TUCO conference at the University of Exeter.
