TV company seeks hospitality businesses for real job interviews

Hospitality businesses are being sought to allow a TV company to film them doing real job interviews for prospective employees.

One Born Every Minute, First Dates, and The Hotel - is looking to make a show named The Interview, which will feature real interviews of real people, for real jobs created by employers. It is especially looking to feature hotel businesses.

The company will use multiple cameras to capture the "excitement and drama of the interview from both sides of the table", and would like to speak to employers who are "passionate about their business and about finding new staff". It will also encourage the creation of new roles.

Hospitality businesses are no stranger to appearing on the small screen; bookings soared for Manchester restaurants Manchester House and Simon Rogan's the French after they appeared to go head-to-head for a Michelin star on BBC Two in spring 2014, while Channel 4 show The Hotel follows the business dealings of Torquay hotelier-turned-events manager Mark Jenkins.

Label1 was founded by Simon Dickson and Lorraine Charker-Phillips, and is part of Shiver, ITV Studios. Companies looking to get involved are asked to email theinterview@label1.tv.
