Vacherin appoints new head of operations

London caterer Vacherin has appointed Simon Macfarlane to the role of head of operations. He joins from Lusso, CH&Co's London catering arm, where he was operations director.

In his new role, Macfarlane will oversee a team of three operators managing Vacherin's portfolio, which covers private dining and commercial venue catering to staff restaurants and cafés.

Having worked in senior roles in the City for more than a decade, Macfarlane already has an in-depth knowledge of Vacherin's clientele as well as firm financial grounding.

Mark Philpott, owner and managing director said: "As our company continues to grow, it's important for us to find the right people to help us take Vacherin to the next level and Simon fits the bill perfectly."
