Venue Reservations sees 40% rise in enquiries for 2013 Christmas parties

Venue Reservations, part of the Crown Group, has seen a 40% rise in enquiries for Christmas parties in 2013.

The firm said that year on year enquiry levels based on January 2012 versus January 2013 have seen a 31% rise, and the first six weeks has seen a 40% rise.

Nicky Pratt, customer services director, at the company said the firm had already anticipated a strong demand for Christmas parties and re-structured the team to include a dedicated Christmas party division.

Pratt said: "The level of enquiries has reinforced our belief in the trend for sector growth. This has been underpinned not just by the amount of enquiries, but also the quality of the enquiry being made. This is a clear sign that confidence is coming back to event industry as businesses and individuals are committing so far in advance to secure the best venues and dates."
