What is a ‘blown air' system?
We'd like a self-service display unit for sandwiches and snacks and have been recommended a "blown air" system. What is this?
This is where a curtain of cold air is blown across the front opening of the display unit, acting as a barrier between the food inside and the warm air outside. It keeps the cabinet at the right temperature but allows customers to access the food easily.
