Wilson Vale wins Wycliffe Hall foodservice deal

Leicestershire-based catering company Wilson Vale has won a catering contract with Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.

Wycliffe Hall is an evangelical theological college set within the University of Oxford. The independent caterer has been appointed to deliver catering services to around 100 students plus staff as part of a seven-day-a-week operation.

The new one-year rolling deal, worth £200,000 in annual turnover, started yesterday (12 January), and sees a team of five provide breakfast, morning coffee, lunch and evening meal services to students and staff, as well as hospitality services.

Andrew Wilson, co-founder and managing director of Wilson Vale, described the win as prestigious and a great start to the company's new financial year.

"We are confident that we can make a big difference to the standards of food on-site and we will be supporting our new client's goals to provide a much fresher offer utilising seasonal foods and home-cooking skills," he said.

Wilson Vale's performance for its financial year end (ending 31 December 2013) shows another successful year of consistent managed growth and improved profitability.
